With swirls of white and blue-grey, this stunning NT Trading exclusive marble paver was named after the voluminous clouds in the sky. With no two pieces being exactly alike, the movement of this unique marble adds a luxurious touch to your outdoor space!  Not seen in traditional marble pavers, the sandblasted finishing creates a texture on the surface of the marble, meaning you can have a non-slippery surface without having to compromise on style. Rest assured that your outdoor surface will remain cool and slip-resistant in areas of high foot traffic, such as patios and pools. You can also easily use the copings as treads and steps. Introducing The Extremely Robust Outdoor Paver Designed For Driveways-Our Newest 3cm

So we have taken it one step further in offering a porcelain paver in a 3cm (1 and ¼”) to complement its counterpart, the 2cm (3/4”).

Introducing The Extremely Robust Outdoor Paver Designed For Driveways-Our Newest 3cm

Exterior porcelain has taken off and become preferred over concrete pavers for hardscapes. Reasons include their stain- resistance, fade-proof, durability, slip resistance, color brilliance and more. Let’s face it, when you are spending a great deal of money and time to create your dream outdoor living space, you want it to last for a least a decade. This is becoming a problem with concrete pavers. They seem to look tired and faded after a few years.

So we have taken it one step further in offering a porcelain paver in a 3cm (1 and ¼”) to complement its counterpart, the 2cm (3/4”).

This is made for driveways and any rooftop applications that use a pedestal system and comes in a variety of sizes and colors. This tile is designed to last over time; it is characterized by the same high quality of our standard NT Elegance Collection porcelain paver (2cm) but with higher strength.  An amazing alternative to concrete or natural stone and the installation of base materials is the same.  Using our 3cm tiles on rooftop applications with our pedestal system is beneficial. Because of the weight bearing capacity of the pedestal, coupled with the 3cm this alleviates any wind issues and does a better job with sound absorption.

Why Choose Marble Coping?

Why Choose Marble Coping?

Marble is among the best materials you can use for your swimming pool. It is durable, timeless, and will provide a luxurious finish to the area. Likewise, it will elevate your property’s value and make your waterline safer, especially when you use high-quality marble pool copings. Here are some more interesting facts to know about marble and why it is great for your pool:

Marble pavers and copings come in different colors, cuts, and textures. For example, Bayrock Stone offers Blue Marble in French Patterned pavers, Four different lengths of copings, Veneer Stone Tiles, and Slabs. Both in tumbled and sandblasted.

·         Safe – Marble can naturally resist bacteria and other harmful elements that can thrive in materials. Sandblasted marble pavers for your pool deck and copings for the swimming pool will provide extra grip for feet, so people can avoid slipping and falling. Any sandblasted materials for full enhancement must be sealed.

·         Easy to clean – With marble, your pool can be easier to clean, usually only with water and mild soap. The material is naturally stain-resistant, too, but be sure to clean up spills from colored and acidic liquids to prevent permanent stains.

·         Long Lasting – Marble is here to stay for years and years as long as it’s cared for. It is extremely strong and durable.

Consider what material to use on your hardscape investment.

Natural stone, like bluestone is popular and traditional but it does hold heat and some recommend sealing to prevent staining. Concrete pavers have been the go-to for year’s but they can look dated and faded over time. Sealing is also recommended after curing.

When thinking about investing in your outdoor living space consider the following; Not all tiles are all the same, some have different properties that need to be treated differently. Natural stone, like bluestone, is popular and traditional but it does hold heat and some recommend sealing to prevent staining. Concrete pavers have been the go-to for year’s but they can look dated and faded over time. Sealing is also recommended after curing.

Some people want a certain neatness and high quality and for that, there’s our Italian porcelain pavers with so many up and coming attributes, mostly the strength and durability. There is nothing more timeless and elegant as our marble French pattern which is an extremely strong natural stone.  We offer sandblasted marble (which must be sealed) or tumbled marble. Looking for aesthetically striking, travertine tiles are Bayrock stones biggest seller.

Although travertine tiles are made of natural like limestone, marble or granite, its unique selling point is the formation, hardness and overall look of it.

It is actually formed in hot springs as well as limestone caves. Its key characteristic has to be the holes within the stone that is caused by carbon dioxide evasion, giving off a very homely vibe. The more holes there are, the lesser its overall quality is. In the northeast, we require the least porous and highest quality of travertine to endure our harsh winters.  Here at NT Trading – Elegance we are proud to stand behind the best grade travertine pavers. The end result should last a long time and be worth the investment.

The Best Tiles For Your Kitchen Backsplash | ELEGANCE BLOG

Your kitchen is the heart of your family’s home. It’s a space every family member uses each day, where people gather on holidays or even weeknight dinners. Therefore, every kitchen needs to be two things: functional and beautiful.

What is it that makes a kitchen uniquely beautiful? Honestly, the answer is in those details you might not notice at first – including that backsplash beneath your cabinets. A great tile backsplash can add color or texture (or both) to your kitchen, adding a design element that makes space immediately more appealing.

There are many backsplash options for your kitchen, but the usually fall into one of two categories: natural stone and porcelain tile. Today, let’s look at these two options and discuss how they can help transform your kitchen.

Natural Stone

Natural stone tiles encompass a wide range of materials, such as marble, travertine, and limestone. Most natural tiles come in cool or neutral shades, so they’re ideal for a modern kitchen with a minimalist color palette. These tiles can add a touch of classic elegance to your kitchen, whether you’re trying to create contrast with your countertops or using the same material for a sense of cohesion.

Pros

There are several benefits to using natural stone tiles in your kitchen. First and foremost, these stones add a lot of visual appeal to your space. Natural stone looks elegant and expensive, and it’s sure to impress anyone who happens to venture into your kitchen. If you’re someone who loves to entertain, this stone will help bring your kitchen to the next level.

Natural stone tiles are so good at upping the appeal of your space, they can often raise the overall value of your home! This is another benefit – if you invest in your kitchen backsplash, you just might get a great price for your home down the road!

Cons

Of course, no tile is without its drawbacks. See, natural stone doesn’t just LOOK expensive – it really is. A high-end stone backsplash can be anywhere from $17-25 per square foot! For some homeowners, this may not seem like a big deal (after all, the finished product is more than worth it), but it’s an important consideration for families that want to remodel their kitchen on a budget.

Additionally, natural stone can be high maintenance. Keeping these tiles clean and beautiful requires the right products – and a lot of elbow grease. If you don’t have time to scrub your grout, scour away cooking splatters, and reseal your tiles once a year, you might want to look for a hardier tile option.

Porcelain

Let’s say you want a kitchen backsplash that looks great but is low maintenance. Porcelain tiles might be your best bet! These tiles are made from clay, sand, and other organic materials, which are heated at extremely high temperatures to create a durable, beautiful finished tile. The result is a lovely backsplash material that can withstand anything you throw at it (literally).

Pros

As we just mentioned, porcelain tiles are incredibly resilient and hardy. However, that’s not the only benefit they can bring to your kitchen! Porcelain tiles are also quite easy to clean and maintain. An all-purpose cleaner or mild detergent and dishrag are all you need to keep your backsplash looking like new – which is particularly important if you’re prone to making messes in the kitchen.

Porcelain tiles are also a cost-effective option for homeowners that want to dress up their kitchen. Unlike natural stone (which, as we said, can cost $17-25 per square foot), porcelain tiles can be as inexpensive as $10 per square foot! The savings here can make all the difference for some homeowners.

Cons

While porcelain tiles are very easy to clean and care for once they’re in place, the installation is another story. This is the greatest the drawback to using these tiles for your backsplash; most porcelain tiles require specific setting material, and if you don’t buy the right one, you can be in real trouble.

If you are planning to use porcelain tiles in your kitchen, it might be best to talk to a professional tile installer. The right tools are essential to getting a backsplash that will look great and last for years – and this means this is not the time to try and learn a new DIY skill.

Tile Options

Once you determine which material you want to use in your kitchen, it’s time to decide the type of tile you want to use. Both natural stone and porcelain come in a variety of styles, and each style looks great with different kitchen designs and aesthetics. Which one will work best for you and your kitchen?

Mosaics

Mosaics are small tiles, usually put together in a square-foot-sized pattern. These can include brick patterns, hexagons, or simple squares. Mosaic tiles are a good choice when you want your backsplash to add contrast or dynamics to your kitchen. The patterns and colors of the tile can really make your backsplash (and your kitchen overall) pop!

Tiles

If you want your tile to add color to your kitchen, but not texture or patterns, your best choice is probably a classic tile in your desired material. Tiles in a color that contrasts with your cabinets or countertops can brighten up your space, but their large shape won’t distract from the other elements in your kitchen.

Slabs

Sometimes, contrast is the last thing you want in your kitchen. Matching your backsplashes to your countertops is a great way to make space seem more uniform – which is a dream for many modern minimalists! If you want to ensure that your backsplashes and countertop match perfectly, large tile slabs can ensure a consistent look throughout the space.

Unique Ways To Use Tile In Your Home | Elegance Blog

When it comes to interior tile, most people only think of two rooms: the kitchen and bathroom. Outside those rooms, wood flooring and carpeting reign supreme. Sure, wood flooring and carpet can be nice – but that does not mean they’re the only options. In fact, tile is a great decorative element that can look beautiful in just about any room of your home! All you need is a little creativity to get the décor of your dreams.

Tile is a great way to switch up the colors and textures in your home, giving you a unique design aesthetic that you won’t see in most houses. This can help you express your creativity and give your home a fresh, new look! Whether you decide to use tile flooring throughout your space or try one of the design ideas below, tile can provide your household with many benefits.

Why Tile?

Regardless of whether you decorate with glass, ceramic, porcelain, or stone, tiles can be a hugely beneficial material in your interior design. Firstly, tile is typically easy to maintain. Most tiles are water-resistant (so you will not spend time sopping up spilled drinks) and dirt is easy to sweep away. If you want to keep your house clean WITHOUT spending hours working at it, tile is great for you!

Secondly, the tile is very durable. This makes it a great choice for high traffic areas (like your floors). No matter how many people run across your tile flooring, the floor will withstand the impact and keep looking great! However, it is important to keep in mind that “durable” doesn’t mean “unbreakable;” if you drop something heavy on your tile, it may still crack or chip.

Finally, tile elements are a relatively inexpensive way to invest in your home. Obviously, you can spend a great deal on an interior tile (depending on the type of tile you purchase), but tile is generally more cost-effective than other flooring or décor options. And despite their relatively low cost, tile can increase your home’s value by quite a lot!

But how should you use tile to dress up your home? The answer is simple: however, you want! You can put tile flooring throughout your home. You can add tile to the backsplash in your kitchen or bathroom. You can tile the exterior of your tub. And you can also use tile in new and unexpected ways — here are a few ideas that just might help you get inspired:

An Elegant Entryway

If your house has a foyer or entryway that leads in from outdoors, you can use tile flooring to create a seamless transition between the two spaces. This can help spruce up a drab corridor and create decorative cohesion between your home’s exterior and interior. Your guests will certainly be impressed when they see your elegant hallway with the tile flooring!

Of course, if you want to create design cohesion, you need to make sure your interior tiles match the look of your yard. Consider getting tiles in a similar color or shape as your outdoor pavers. Install them in a pattern that mimics the pattern outside. This will help your foyer or entryway look more like a transition space, and it will nicely lead your guests in or out.

Accent Walls

Accent walls are a great way to break up the monotony of any room. A brightly colored wall or fun, funky wallpaper can add style and personality to any space – but those certainly aren’t your only options. If you’re in the mood to get really creative, a tiled accent wall can add both color and texture to your bedroom, living room, or office.

Give your space a rustic touch with a wood-inspired tile or a natural stone option. Add some minimalist charm with tile that looks like exposed brick. You can even use mosaic tiles (either a premade design or a mosaic of your own making) to create a bold and colorful accent wall! The possibilities are endless, so don’t be afraid to really explore your options.

Upcycled Shelves and Furniture

If your home has built-in shelving, you might want to break up those recessed spaces. Sure, you COULD paint them in a contrasting color… but you can achieve the same effect with tile! Consider using small tiles to create a pattern along your shelves, as you would use on your kitchen backsplash. This will create a more interesting look on your shelf.

Similarly, you can use tiles to dress up old furniture and give it new life! A slab of porcelain tile can revive your old coffee table. Mosaic tiles can give your bed’s footboard a chic new look. A few tiles can really transform nearly all your old furniture so that it all suits your stylish new interior décor!

Decorate with Tile Flooring Today

As you can see, tiles are for MUCH more than your bathroom and kitchen (though we must admit, they look great in those rooms, too). There are many ways to incorporate tile into your interior design – and the best part is, every time you use tile, you will reap the benefits of this great material! Your home can be beautiful, durable, and easy to clean from the front door to the backyard.

Whether you use natural stone in your entryway, porcelain tiles on your coffee table, or mosaics in the master bedroom, you are sure to fall in love with the finished look. And whatever project you’re planning, the team at Elegance US will be here to help you make it a reality!
