Purchasing Manager

Purchasing Manager will be responsible for coordinating the company’s purchasing activities; supervising the process of sourcing and purchasing essential materials for a business’s operations; researching raw materials suppliers, comparing costs, negotiating purchase agreements, and developing inventory controls to identify demand for new materials. The Manager will identify and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, reliability, production, distribution capabilities, and reputation; write and review product specifications, maintain and review records of items purchased, their costs, and product performance; prepare purchase orders and agreements for correctness, price, and acceptability of items to specifications; monitor shipments and compliance to quality standards such as quality, delivery, and cost; confer with staff and suppliers to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services and resolve problems related to undelivered goods.

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Business Administration
  • 12 months of experience in purchasing or sales management
  • Knowledge of the Turkish Language is required
